Escentric Molecules is a Berlin-based niche house founded in 2006 by perfumer Geza Schoen, known for deconstructing fragrance by isolating single synthetic molecules as the hero ingredient. Escentric 01 is built almost entirely around Iso E Super, a woody synthetic that dominates the top, heart, and base. This creates an unusual olfactory experience where the fragrance feels more like a single note exploration than a traditional composition, with subtle supporting elements of lime providing brief brightness and a woody, musky, amber base that's animalic and slightly introverted.
